Surabhi Foundation Trust
Earlier this year, Nasdaq sponsored school uniforms and stationaries for 300 deserving students in partnership with the Surabhi Foundation Trust. The Surabhi Foundation Trust is dedicated to addressing the needs of and uplifting marginalized and often overlooked communities. Their efforts are focused on providing holistic growth and support to children, including quality education, good health, and hygiene practices, with a particular emphasis on achieving social inclusion.
Around 20 Nasdaq Bangalore volunteers worked with the students to help with social development and promote positive values. During employees' visit volunteers distributed kits to each student. One kit includes two pairs of shoes, uniforms, and necessary materials for an academic year.

Venture Equity Project
The Challenge: Equitable entrepreneurship is essential to revitalizing innovation across the United States, yet systemic barriers persist for underrepresented founders. The Venture Equity Project (VEP) sought to highlight the actionable solutions to drive equity and inclusion in its latest research report, "Revitalization Innovation: Models of Equitable Entrepreneurship Across the United States."
The Project:The Venture Equity Project identifies opportunities for ecosystem builders, policymakers, investors, and educators, by offering insights for those committed to advancing equity in entrepreneurship. Now in its third year, the Venture Equity Project is focused on the role of the U.S. states in fostering equity within the venture ecosystem.

Transforming Investor Identity
A national pilot project by Commonwealth with support from the Nasdaq Foundation aimed at shifting perceptions of investor identity, revealing how identity forms for beginner investors and an actionable toolkit aimed at providers who want to take action today for inclusive investing.
The one-year pilot project highlighted the experience of more than 850 participants on three leading financial technology partner platforms - Ellevest, Public and Stash - provides first-of-its kind research to transform the investing system and make it more inclusive to those who have been historically excluded.
The insights:
- After just one year of investing, 71% of participants agreed that investing turned out to be easier than they had initially thought.
- 61% of participants felt they had more control over their financial future after investing.
- Active learning is a keystone for identity building.
- 77% of those who agreed that they belong used educational tools compared to just 56% who did not feel like they belonged.

Danish Shareholders Association
Nasdaq European Markets has an ongoing program that promotes financial literacy, investor protection, financial inclusion and retail activation. This program partners with organizations dedicated to equipping retail investors of all ages and backgrounds with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively.
Nasdaq Copenhagen has since partnered with the Danish Shareholders Association (DAF), an organization that is striving to promote shareholding among private investors and to become an active policy-maker and lobbyist regarding stock market questions.
In 2024, they expanded their efforts to ensure that at least 25% of all Danish high school students receive education on financial ownership and investing. They hosted various activities, including mini-guides for investing, educational videos and podcasts, and live investor events. By reaching this goal, they aim to empower individuals regardless of their background, stimulate job and economic growth, and advance economic progress for all.
