Published

Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme Driver Hamda Al Qubaisi joined us at MarketSite to ring the bell in honor of the Red Bull Racing and Rokt partnership and their dedication to fostering diversity in Formula 1 and supporting women in STEM. She spoke to Nasdaq about what the partnership means for the next generation of women in motorsports.

Transcript:

Being part of the Red Bull Racing family is such an honor.

It's an amazing team with a long history. And yeah, it's just a dream come true for me. The partnership between Red Bull Academy and Rokt is a very special one.

It will inspire the next generation of women in motorsports, especially.

And I hope even more females just entering the sport in karting— and making it more equal.

It's really important for brands to invest in females and motorsport because I lacked that in the past. And now that I have that, I'm able to have the exposure that I needed, increasing my potential and showing people what I’m made of on track.

Investing in yourself is very important. It's been a long journey for me, especially getting into karting at the age of 12.

When you put the work in, you'll be able to get those achievements. Growing up, I would watch Jamie Chadwick.

She was a special role model in my racing career, especially when I got into formula racing. She's the reason I wanted to to continue in the sport.

I hope to create a better tomorrow by inspiring the next generation of women, especially in motorsport, and just in general, Arab females as well.

Back home in the region, it was nice to go back and see them in karting and joining.

Advice I would give to those who want to take actions on their dreams is to go for it.

You never know until you actually try, and, you know, the sky's the limit.
