Pernod Ricard North America Rings the Nasdaq Stock Market Opening Bell

Published

Pernod Ricard North America, the premium spirits and wine company visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate St. Patrick's Eve on behalf of iconic Irish brand, Jameson Irish Whiskey.

In honor of the occasion, Irish Distillers Chairman and CEO Nodjame Fouad and Pernod Ricard North America Chairman and CEO Conor McQuaid rings the Opening Bell.

This year, St. Patrick's Day was supposed to fall on a Saturday, but Leap Year had other plans and STOLE our Saturday celebration – now it's on a Sunday. Who wants to wait until 2029 for the next Saturday St. Patrick's Day?! We at Jameson don't, that's for sure, which is why we've created a new holiday: Jameson's St. Patrick's Eve on Saturday, March 16.

St. Patrick's Eve brings the brand's Must be a Jameson campaign to life by creating a world that connects likeminded people who choose to see the greener side of things and who better embodies that spirit than comedians Colin Jost and Michael Che, who we partnered with to help us ring in St. Patrick's Eve – after all, every great Eve celebration deserves great hosts!

Anyone 21 and up can join Jameson in Times Square Plaza this Saturday, March 16 between 43rd and 44th Streets from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time as Jameson is one of the first brands to ever drop the Times Square Ball to celebrate a new holiday. Just head to JamesonSPE.com to learn more.

And because a special holiday deserves an equally stylish look, Jameson released limited edition vintage-inspired jackets for sale. All proceeds benefit the Restaurant Workers' Community Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for food and beverage service industry workers, continuing Jameson's long-standing support of the bartending community.

Once plans are made and outfits are set, fans can toast to St. Patrick's Eve (and Day!), wherever they may be, with our refreshing and classic Jameson cocktail, the Jameson Ginger and Lime.
