J.P. Morgan Asset Management Rings the Nasdaq Stock Market Opening Bell

08:54It is a gloomy but very exciting morning here at Nasdaq market site.

08:59My name is Ali Doyle,

09:01and I lead Nasdaq's ETF listings business.

09:04And it is my great pleasure to welcome to Nasdaq.

09:07The head of US Equity Derivatives at JP Morgan Asset Management,

09:11Hamilton, and US Equity Investment Specialist Jenna Silver,

09:16who I would also

09:26like to welcome the rest of the JP Morgan team to ring the Nasdaq opening bell.

09:31We are so excited to have you all here today in the heart of Times Square

09:35to celebrate the JP Morgan Nasdaq equity premium income, ETF.

09:41Jepq launched in May of 2022.

11:10So I don't know how I follow that. So thank you all.

11:14But I was told I have a very short period time,

11:16so I've got to keep it short and punchy.

11:18So I figure I'd start with a very short story.

11:20Last week, I got a phone call from a client that said,

11:24I love Jet Q I talked to the salesperson,

11:28I talked to the salesperson,

11:30I talked to your investment specialist,

11:35and now I'm talking to you and I kind of like you.

11:38So my only question before I buy the strategy is why

11:41JP Morgan and I've never really been asked that in such a direct way.

11:46And what I said was, well,

11:48it's really hard to me these strategies and that's why everyone is here.

11:52Because you need middle office,

11:54back office clearing, custody, cap markets, tax.

11:57It's hard. And no one else really

12:00has this group of people that we have with us here today.

12:02So the fact is, you know,

12:04you're all here for a specific reason not to have the fun ringing the bell.

12:07Yes, that's fun. But because we

12:08wouldn't be where we are today without each and every one of you.

12:13I was told I was not allowed to say,

12:15it takes a village because Jenna would actually have to do a shot. So I didn't say that.

12:19But the other thing I would say is Ali did a great job

12:22of talking about the success we've had with the strategy,

12:25and I've been lucky enough to ring the bell,

12:27you know, more than once here.

12:29But just to put it in perspective,

12:30the strategy is a year and three quarters old,

12:33is just about to hit 10 billion and is the largest ETF on Nac platform,

12:39which is incredibly, you know,

12:40you know, a lot of pride for all of us.

12:42So it's kind of neat to be here.
