Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. (Nasdaq: HVIIU), a newly incorporated blank check company founded by Daniel J. Hennessy, visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. In honor of the occasion, Daniel Hennessy, Chairman & CEO, rings the Closing Bell.

09:08Nasdaq is honored to have partnered with you over the last ten years,
09:12and I'm not really sure where that time has gone,
09:15but we couldn't be more proud to welcome you again to
09:19our family of the world's most innovative and growth oriented companies.

09:36Hennessy Capital Group is an alternative investment manager serving as

10:52for your kind words and for hosting us here at Nasdaq for the closing bell ceremony.
10:58We are most are most appreciative of our decade long relationship with
11:01Nasdaq and your enthusiasm for us and the Spac asset class.
11:06In fact, it was 11 years ago,
11:08in January of 2014,
11:10when I first came to Nasdaq for the IPO of Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp.,
11:15our first Spac, which subsequently merged with Bluebird Corporation,
11:20the school bus company now recognized as one of
11:23the most successful Spac mergers of the last decade.
11:27We're very proud of our Spac franchise and excited to pursue
11:31our mission to seek out category winners to bring to the public markets,
11:36just as we did with Logistic Properties of the Americas and in venture,
11:40two of the top performing Spac mergers of 2024,
11:44which were overseen and orchestrated by our team.
