The BSP published consultation on amendments to the prudential reports of BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions on Material Related Party Transactions (RPTs) and Project Finance Exposures.
On October 2nd, 2024, BSP published consultation on amendments to the prudential reports of BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions on Material Related Party Transactions (RPTs) and Project Finance Exposures. Reporting period for the updated Report on Material RPT is expected to be effective from June 30, 2025. Banks should submit material transactions with their related parties, including their non-bank financial subsidiaries, affiliates. The consultation is open for comments until October 16th, 2024.
On September 20, 2024, the BSP released new guidelines for submitting the Enhanced Comprehensive Credit and Equity Exposures Report (COCREE) of 2023. All COCREE 2.0 submissions, including pilot tests and live implementations, should use the updated COCREE 2.0 report package. This package includes the latest data dictionary, line-item instructions, XML schema design, and .TXT format for reporting. Live reporting will begin for the period ending December 31, 2024, for universal, commercial, digital, and non-bank financial institutions, and on March 31, 2025, for rural and cooperative banks.
