Headspace, the world’s leading mental health platform, visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate the start of the New Year and kick off Nasdaq’s Wellness Week.
As the new year kicks off, many resolve to prioritize their mental health, improve relationships, or manage stress—but staying on track can be a challenge. Research shows that just 10 days of meditating with Headspace increases happiness and decreases stress, making mindfulness an approachable way to bring about change without committing to an overwhelming and lofty goal. Headspace looks forward to joining Nasdaq in bringing attention to the importance of emotional wellness in every aspect of life – not just in January, but all year long.
In honor of the occasion, Eve Lewis Prieto, mindfulness and meditation teacher and Headspace’s Director of Teaching, will lead a brief meditation exercise before Nicolette Turner, Chief Financial Officer, Headspace, rings the Opening Bell.
