Daniel Carrigan is Associate Vice President of Nasdaq, Inc., North American Markets.  In this role, he focuses on new markets development and new product development across equities, energy, interest rates and cryptocurrencies.

Daniel served as President and board member of NASDAQ Futures, Inc., a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market from 2011 to 2019.  Prior to election as President, Daniel was Senior Managing Director of Products, Services & Operations of NFX (2004-2011).  Daniel also served as head of new product development for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (“PHLX”) (PHLX was acquired by NASDAQ OMX in July 2008) from 2004-2008.  He architected the PHLX / NFX foreign currency product growth strategy with the January 2007 listing of PHLX US Dollar-settled currency options and in August 2007, the listing of NFX US Dollar-settled foreign currency futures.

Prior to joining the PHLX, Daniel helped start and run OneChicago, LLC, an exchange for single stock futures (2000 - 2002).  Prior to OneChicago, Daniel was Executive Managing Director and co-head of North America (1989-2000) for Finacor Group, a CFTC-registered Futures Commission Merchant and SEC-registered Broker-Dealer whereby he oversaw operations and regulatory compliance.  During his tenure with Finacor, he was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Daniel got his start in the derivatives industry in 1987 with Tudor Investment Group subsidiary, Bellwether Partners, as a proprietary trader of foreign currency and US Treasury futures.
