Valued at $69.9 billion by market cap, the company sells its products to do-it-yourself customers, professional mechanics, and service technicians. The auto parts giant is expected to announce its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings for 2024 after the market closes on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Ahead of the event, analysts expect ORLY to report a profit of $9.72 per share on a diluted basis, up 5% from $9.26 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company beat the consensus estimates in two of the last four quarters while missing the forecast on two other occasions.

ORLY's outperformance is driven by the rising average vehicle age, fueling demand for parts and maintenance. Additionally, its robust supply chain, extensive store network, operational efficiency, durable demand, and broad product availability enable it to meet the urgent needs of its growing customer base,  supporting its growth.

On Oct. 23, ORLY shares closed down marginally after reporting its Q3 results. Its revenue of $4.36 billion, fell short of Wall Street forecasts of $4.43 billion. The company’s EPS was $11.41, missing analyst estimates of $11.53. ORLY expects full-year EPS to be between $40.60 and $41.10 and expects revenue to be between $16.6 billion and $16.8 billion.
