The Principal International Equity ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 421,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 34,000. Shares of PIEQ were up about 0.6% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Vale, trading off about 0.2% with over 21.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, up about 1.5% on volume of over 5.6 million shares. Ascendis Pharma is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 2.7% on the day, while NICE is lagging other components of the Principal International Equity ETF, trading lower by about 1.8%.
