The SPDR Dow Jones Global Real Estate ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 666,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 88,000. Shares of RWO were up about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Medical Properties Trust, trading up about 5.5% with over 11.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Park Hotels & Resorts, up about 0.3% on volume of over 3.2 million shares. Apartment Investment and Management is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 7.4% on the day, while Ryman Hospitality Properties is lagging other components of the SPDR Dow Jones Global Real Estate ETF, trading lower by about 0.5%.
