Tuesday 8/18 Insider Buying Report: MOBI, CMCL

Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

At Mobia Medical, a filing with the SEC revealed that on Monday, Casey M. Tansey bought 68,559 shares of MOBI, at a cost of $11.63 each, for a total investment of $797,173. Tansey was up about 9.2% on the buy at the high point of today's trading session, with MOBI trading as high as $12.70 in trading on Tuesday. Mobia Medical is trading up about 1.4% on the day Tuesday. Before this latest buy, Tansey made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $999,990 shares for a cost of $15.00 each.

And on Thursday, Director July Ndlovu purchased $492,842 worth of Caledonia Mining, purchasing 21,400 shares at a cost of $23.03 each. Before this latest buy, Ndlovu made one other purchase in the past twelve months, buying $372,150 shares for a cost of $24.81 a piece. Caledonia Mining is trading down about 1.5% on the day Tuesday.
