Thursday Sector Laggards: Precious Metals, Publishing Stocks

In trading on Thursday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.7%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Equinox Gold, off about 8.4% and shares of New Gold off about 7% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are publishing shares, down on the day by about 2.4% as a group, led down by Lee Enterprises, trading lower by about 15.4% and Gannett, trading lower by about 2.8%.
