Palantir (PLTR) and Anduril are in discussions with approximately a dozen competitors to form a consortium to jointly bid for U.S. government works in order to disrupt the country’s oligopoly of “prime” contracts, Tabby Kinds and George Hammond of The Financial Times reports. The consortium is set to announce as early as January and companies in talks to join include Elon Musk’s SpaceX, ChatGPT maker OpenAI, Saronic, and Scale AI, several people with knowledge of the matter told the Times.
