Nvidia invested $1B in AI companies in 2024, FT reports

Nvidia (NVDA) invested $1B in artificial intelligence companies in 2024, The Financial Times’ Michael Acton and Tabby Kinder report. According to corporate filings, Nvidia spent $1B across 50 start up funding rounds and several corporate deals in 2024, compared with 2023, which had 39 start up rounds and $872M in spending. Most of the deals were with “core AI” companies with high computing infrastructure demands, the report says.
