Nasdaq’s Selena Singleton Recognized Among Savoy’s 2022 List of Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America
Selena Singleton, Head of Strategic Development for Nasdaq’s Corporate Platforms business, has been recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of the Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America this year. Of 500 potential candidates, only 123 global leaders across industries were selected for this prestigious honor.
“I am honored to be selected to Savoy Magazine’s 2022 list of Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America. The leaders on this list have not only had exceptional careers, but they are also committed to creating opportunities for future leaders, and that is the biggest inspiration,” Singleton said.
Savoy recognized Singleton for her outstanding influence on the corporate world. Coming from her previous positions at New York Life Ventures and Alibaba.com, she joined Nasdaq at the end of 2021. As Head of Strategic Development for Corporate Platforms, she has spearheaded expansion opportunities to optimize revenues, operations and client success. Beyond her day-to-day operations, she’s also a pivotal member of GLOBE, a Nasdaq employee resource group that provides a platform for connection and collaboration for all employees that have an affinity or interest in Black, African, African-American and West Indian culture at Nasdaq.
Her achievements also transcend Nasdaq, serving as a mentor for multiple startups at the Founder Institute and is a prominent member of both Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as well as the Alvin Ailey Young Patrons Circle.
This honor highlights some of the most elite leaders in the African American community to date. Savoy Magazine’s publisher L.P. Green and staff “assembled an elite representation of African American men and women who have been recognized for their executive and business leadership in national and global-leading corporations.” Each honoree surpasses standards in categories including career growth, corporate sector influence, scholastic achievement, and has practiced community outreach and recognition.
