The Dow Jones index closed up .85% for the day; a total of 292.69 points. The current value is 34,852.67. Chevron Corporation(CVX) had the largest percent change down (-.16%) while Verizon Communications Inc.(VZ) had the largest percent change gain rising 3.4%.
