In early trading on Thursday, shares of Roper Technologies topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 6.0%. Year to date, Roper Technologies registers a 10.8% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Comcast, trading down 7.5%. Comcast is lower by about 7.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Microsoft, trading down 5.1%, and Broadcom, trading up 5.8% on the day.
