Invitation Home (INVH) Tops Q3 FFO and Revenue Estimates

Invitation Home (INVH) came out with quarterly funds from operations (FFO) of $0.47 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.46 per share. This compares to FFO of $0.44 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an FFO surprise of 2.17%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this real estate investment trust focused on single-family rentals would post FFO of $0.47 per share when it actually produced FFO of $0.47, delivering no surprise.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus FFO estimates two times.

Invitation Home, which belongs to the Zacks REIT and Equity Trust - Residential industry, posted revenues of $660.32 million for the quarter ended September 2024, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.12%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $617.7 million. The company has topped consensus revenue estimates three times over the last four quarters.

The sustainability of the stock's immediate price movement based on the recently-released numbers and future FFO expectations will mostly depend on management's commentary on the earnings call.
