Friday Sector Laggards: Defense, Metals & Mining Stocks

In trading on Friday, defense shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, off about 4.8% and shares of Northrop Grumman down about 3.4% on the day.

Also lagging the market Friday are metals & mining shares, down on the day by about 2.2% as a group, led down by Critical Metals, trading lower by about 19% and Hecla Mining, trading lower by about 7.5%.
