Friday 1/31 Insider Buying Report: ADBE, GM

Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

On Tuesday, Adobe's Director, David A. Ricks, made a $998,946 purchase of ADBE, buying 2,250 shares at a cost of $443.98 a piece. Adobe is trading down about 1.2% on the day Friday.

And at General Motors, there was insider buying on Thursday, by Director Alfred F. Kelly Jr. who bought 12,000 shares at a cost of $50.66 each, for a total investment of $607,920. General Motors is trading up about 1.7% on the day Friday.
