(RTTNews) - Endeavour Mining plc (EDV.L,EDV.TO,EDVMF) reported that its fourth quarter gold production increased to 363 thousand ounce from 280 thousand ounce in the prior year.
The company's gold production for fiscal year 2024 was 1.103 million ounce, in line with the previously disclosed outlook and slightly below the guided 1.130 million ounce - 1.270 million ounce range, due to lower than guided production from Sabodala-Massawa.
The company expects gold production for fiscal year 2025 to be between 1.11 million ounce - 1.26 million ounce, which marks an increase of up to 157 thousand ounce or about 15% over the 2024 production of 1.103 million ounce. The increased production is due to the full year contribution from the Lafigué mine, increased production at the Mana mine following the expansion of the Wona underground deposit, and increased production at Sabodala-Massawa due to higher throughput, grades and recoveries largely due to the full year contribution from the BIOX Expansion.
