(RTTNews) - Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc (EWI.L) reported pretax profit of 71.7 million pounds for the year ended 31 October 2024, compared to a loss of 182.5 million pounds, prior year. Profit per share was 18.78 pence compared to a loss of 46.86 pence. On a revenue basis, net loss before tax was 2.6 million pounds compared to a loss of 2.5 million pounds. On a revenue basis, net loss per ordinary share was 0.70 pence compared to a loss of 0.65 pence.
The Board announced the appointment of Gregory Eckersley as an independent Non-executive Director, with effect from 15 February 2025. No final dividend is being recommended by the Board.
