America's Fastest-Growing Barbecue Chain Builds a Presence in Rochester
ROCHESTER, N.Y., After opening three stores this summer, New York welcomes another franchise location under the direction of Paul Develder and Brant Riggs.
"The barbecue concept is new to New York and we are excited to bring Dickey's Barbecue to Rochester," said Develder, who will own and operate the new location. "I like the challenges and rewards of the restaurant business."
This will be the fourth Dickey's location in New York and the first for Rochester.
"Even though Dickey's is a fast-casual restaurant , the meats are slow-smoked in the restaurant , bringing top quality to the food," said Develder.
The restaurant remains anchored in Texas, where the first location opened in 1941.
"We are excited about expanding in New York and to the people of Rochester," said Roland Dickey Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. "This is a great time to be a part of the Dickey's brand."
There are 174 locations in 35 states, and holds a 46 percent growth rate with a goal of 200 stores by the year's end.
Dickey's Barbecue offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce.
