Content creators have filed two lawsuits against PayPal (PYPL) over its Honey browser extension, which searches for coupons around the web, The Verge’s Wes Davis reports. They allege that Honey took affiliate commissions away from them by improperly claiming credit on sales. “We dispute the allegations in the lawsuits, and will defend against them vigorously,” PayPal VP of corporate communications Josh Criscoe said in a statement emailed to The Verge. He added that “Honey follows industry rules and practices, including last-click attribution.”
