(RTTNews) - Coherent Corp. (COHR), a provider of laser-related equipment and services, announced on Thursday that following an ongoing strategic portfolio assessment, it will evaluate strategic alternatives for its Streamlined Hydrometallurgical Advanced Recycling Process or SHARP technology.
SHARP is used to recover and recycle critical metals from lithium-ion batteries or LiBs.
SHARP has been successfully scaled up, and its products have undergone rigorous evaluation, the company said.
