Alphabet Earnings: Revenue Grows, But EPS Growth Fails To Beat Market Estimates

Alphabet Inc. (NASDQ:GOOG, GOOGL) reported its first quarter results on 21st April 2016. While the revenues grew by over 17% , the EPS growth failed to enthuse the market, which was expecting much higher growth. Post the result, Alphabet's stock price declined by close to 9%.
