Hurricane Matthew is forecast to make landfall on Haiti early Tuesday, pass over Eastern Cuba late in the day and then onto the Bahamas early Wednesday. By the end of the week, it should be bringing heavy rains to the Atlantic coast of Florida and working its way towards South Carolina.

"Some fluctuations in intensity are possible during the next couple of days, but Matthew is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through Wednesday," the NHC reports.
