Michael Bartels is a Senior Vice President and oversees the product, business and advisory teams across Nasdaq’s Governance, ESG and Investor Relations suite of services.  

Michael has served in a variety of different capacities in Nasdaq’s Listings and Corporate Platforms businesses during his 15-year tenure. Most recently, Michael led the successful transformation and stabilization of Nasdaq’s Governance business by driving higher retention rates, improving net subscription sales and expanding digital marketing strategies. In addition, under his leadership, Corporate Platforms acquired the Center for Board Excellence, OneReport and QDiligence, a set of strategic assets that have expanded the Corporate Platforms portfolio. Prior to that, Michael led the business development efforts for Nasdaq’s New Listings team in the western U.S., primarily focused on pre-IPO companies in the Bay Area. 

Michael earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Finance from Bentley University.
