Lou Modano
Executive Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer
Lou Modano is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer, and Global Head of Corporate Information Technology for Nasdaq. In this role, he is responsible for leading and executing the company’s Global Information Security Program, including strategy development, cybersecurity risk assessments and governance activities, as well as information security incident management and engineering. He is also responsible for leading the development and implementation of Nasdaq’s global corporate information technology and services.
Lou is a member of the New York Hall of Science Board of Trustees and a member of the Federal Reserve’s System IT Technology Advisory Committee.
He has more than 25 years of experience in building business value through strategic and innovative product development and technology initiatives within the financial services industry. Prior to joining Nasdaq, he served as Senior Vice President at NYSE Euronext, where he held various senior leadership positions in operations, engineering, business development, sales, product development, and as head of the Sector/SFTI technology subsidiary.
Lou earned a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University.
