The Coca-Cola Company's portfolio already includes hydrating solutions like POWERADE and POWERADE ZERO. However, the latest POWERADE ZERO DROPS offers the convenience of turning simple zero calorie drinking water into a sports drink that can replenish some of the electrolytes lost during workout or training like calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium.
POWERADE ZERO DROPS comes in 3-fluid ounce squeezable bottle and in three flavors namely Mountain Berry Blast, Fruit Punch and Orange. Each bottle can make up to 24 servings of 8 fluid ounce each.
Changing consumer preferences, increasing health consciousness, rising obesity concerns, possible new taxes on sugar-sweetened beverages and growing regulatory pressures are affecting sales of Coca-Cola. As such, Coca-Cola focuses on innovation and keeps launching a variety of new brands and new beverage products.
The zero calorie feature of this hydration solution is expected to appeal to health conscious consumers. The increasing awareness about calorie intake and nutrition among consumers has made them more alert toward health and wellness products. This zero calorie product replenishes all the necessary minerals lost during workout without adding any unwanted calorie.
