The deal will allow Fliphound, an established online marketplace for purchasing digital billboard advertising, to enable seamless and automatic configuration of its platform for Daktronics display owners, thus facilitating the online selling of its digital inventory.
There is a huge untapped market for digital billboards, as millions of small and medium-sized businesses want to buy them like they buy internet and social media ads. As a digital billboard market leader, Daktronics will enable expansion of the outdoor digital market through such deals. It will facilitate operators to tap into digital advertisers and online buyers, thus gaining access to the $54 billion digital online advertising market.
Fliphound also boasts a proven track record of drawing new, local advertisers to out of home advertising. About 89% of its clients are local advertisers and over 85% of the 500+ Fliphound advertisers are new to outdoor advertising, presenting a huge prospective market.
